Sam Lufkin was born on May 8, 1891 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He was an actor, known for Scotty of the Scouts (1926), The Mystery Man (1935) and Skybound (1935). He was married to Maude Lee Bailey. He died on February 19, 1952 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Grim-faced small-part actor who appeared in many Laurel & Hardy comedies.

Spent much of his career working for Hal Roach and at Columbia.

He was cremated at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery's funeral home. Its funeral directors buried his urn within the cemetery afterwards.
