Has a daughter, Luna (b. June 12th, 2004), with ex-girlfriend, actress Mónica Hoyos.

Split and came back several times with Mónica Hoyos between 1999 and their definitive split in 2007.

Dated Catherine Deneuve in the early 1980s.
