He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "As You Like It," at the Theatre Royal in Bristol, England in a Bristol Old Vic Company production with Elizabeth Counsell, Nicholas Pennell, Bernard Hepton, John Rowe, Tim Pigott-Smith, Jeremy Irons, Michael Rothwell, and Simon Cadell in the cast. Val May was director.
Had a very brief and unsuccessful career as a pop singer in the early sixties, recording "I might have known (before)" / "I might have known (after)" for the Ember Records label.
