Patricia Lovell was born in 1929 in Artarmon, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She was a producer and actress, known for Gallipoli (1981), Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) and Monkey Grip (1982). She was married to Nigel Lovell. She died on January 26, 2013 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 1978 Queen's New Years Honours List for her services to film and television.

She was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1986 Queen's Birthday Honours List for her services to the film industry.
