Marilyn Lovell was born on July 11, 1930 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. She was an actress, known for V.I.P.-Schaukel (1971), Dateline NBC (1992) and American Experience (1988). She was married to Jim Lovell. She died on August 27, 2023 in Lake Forest, Illinois, USA.

She and her husband, Jim Lovell, have 10 grandchildren.

She and her husband first met when they were attending Juneau High School in Milwaukee. She attended Wisconsin State Teachers College while he went to the University of Wisconsin. She later transferred to George Washington University to be near him while he attended the U.S. Naval Academy. They were married after he graduated.
