- Dyson Lovell was born on August 28, 1936 in Rhodesia. He was a producer and actor, known for Romeo and Juliet (1968), Endless Love (1981) and Merlin (1998). He died on January 11, 2024.
- Before becoming a successful producer he appeared in British crime b-movies in the 1960's, and in that time he resembled American icon James Cagney.
- In addition to playing a small acting role in Franco Zeffirelli's "Romeon And Juliet", he served as a casting director on the film, and later was involved in producing a further five Zeffirelli films, including a mini-series made for television.
