- Lina Lossen was born on October 7, 1878 in Dresden, Germany. She was an actress, known for Peer Gynt (1919), Peer Gynt - 2. Teil: Peer Gynts Wanderjahre und Tod (1919) and The Man in the Iron Mask (1923). She died on January 30, 1959 in Berlin, Germany.
- She went to Berlin in 1910 where she got an engagement at the Lessingtheater where she impersonated numerous roles in the next years. She also got grateful roles an the Staatstheater Berlin where she was active from 1922 to 1945.
- The actress Lina Lossen took acting lessons before she entered the theater business in 1898 when she made her debut at the Stadttheater Düsseldorf. From there followed engagements at other German theaters, among others in Cologne and Munich.
- She did not continue her film career after World War 2 and her engagements at the theater were limited to sporadic guest performances as well.
- She had no problem to manage the transition from the silent era to the talkies and she played smaller roles till to the end of the war.
