  • Martin has been a Sound Supervisor, Sound Designer and Re-recording mixer on over 90 films and Television shows. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Filmmaking and a minor in Psychology. His first credit was for Special Sound Design on the Amblin Entertainment film Twister. Since then, Martin has worked his craft on numerous independent films as well as Summer Blockbusters. His filmography includes 5 of the Marvel-Sony franchise Spider-Man films - one of the top grossing franchises of all time. He was also on the Skywalker Sound team that created the amazing sound design on Marvel's Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. In the independent realm, his work includes Sound FX Design on Sunshine Cleaning," an early work of star Amy Adams, Richard Linklater's social commentary Fast Food Nation, and the pulp anthem, Idiocracy by Mike Judge, a fellow alumnus of The University of California at San Diego. Martin is also an Adjunct Professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, teaching sound design aesthetics and techniques to the next generation of Hollywood filmmakers. Martin lives in Santa Monica, California.

  • While still in college, Martin contributed sound work on "Return of the Killer Tomatoes," a sequel to the infamous B-movie "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" created by long time friend John DeBello. The film starred John Astin (from the Addams Family TV series) and George Clooney.
