- William Loose was born on June 5, 1910 in Michigan, USA. He was a composer, known for Cruel Intentions (1999), X2: X-Men United (2003) and The Game (1997). He died on February 22, 1991 in Burbank, California, USA.
- Prolific composer and orchestrator, who often worked on cartoon scores, as well as writing TV themes for such series as "Trackdown" and "Wanted: Dead or Alive". During World War II, he worked as arranger for the U.S. Army Air Forces Orchestra in New York. Loose later partnered Billy May in a company called 'May-Loo Music' and did musical arrangements for artists recording for Capitol, Decca and Reprise Records.
