Carlo Lombardi was born on January 2, 1900 in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. He was an actor and writer, known for L'amore è come il sole (1969), Il ragazzo che sapeva amare (1967) and The White Woman (1931). He was married to Nella Maria Bonora. He died on March 21, 1984 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

The character 'Falco Lombardi' from the 'Star Fox' video game series was named after him.
