Peter is an Emmy, Independent Spirit, and IDA award-nominated filmmaker whose work focuses on telling immersive, visually rich, and transformative stories.
In 2023, he received a Peabody award and was acknowledged by the "Television Academy Honors" for his work as director and show runner on HBO's "We're Here." He's directed and shot documentary film and television on a wide range of subjects, including 40 episodes of the Emmy-winning series "Intervention." His work has been recognized at the Sundance, South by Southwest, and Cannes Film Festivals, and has received praise in The New York Times, LA Times, The Guardian, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter. He has a BA in Religious Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Cinema Production from the University of Southern California.
