Biography

Born in Rochdale he was an apprentice chef, salesman, plumber's merchant and engineer before he followed his ambition to act and joined the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

He has appeared n Coronation Street three times.

His other television credits include Crown Court, Shine On Harvey Moon, Boon and Minder.

He featured in the film About a Boy.
