David Litvinoff was born in 1928 in East End, London, England, UK. He is known for Performance (1970) and Sunshine City (1973). He died in 1975 in Faversham, Kent, England, UK.

Great friend of Ronald Kray who gave the directors and stars of "Performance" an entrée to the London underworld.

Litvanoff was not a great friend of Ronnie Kray, in fact although he knew the Twins from his east end upbringing and the clubs, Ronnie didn't really like him, and it wasn't the Twins who introduced Litvanoff to the underworld, he already knew people. There were conversations with R&R. But in fact it was Robert Fraser who knew Jimmy Evans from when he was in prison with him and, introduced him to James Fox 'et al'. Fox based his character, the gangster Chas on Jimmy Evans. Johnny Shannon did the rest including the boxing lessons at the Thomas A Beckett amongst other venues, which landed him the part of Harry Flowers. it was a defining moment and Shannon embarked on a career in acting after Performance.
