Heather Litteer is an award-winning actress, chanteuse and writer who hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Her film career includes daring roles in major motion pictures, working with an array of distinctive directors such as Jane Campion, Mary Harron and Darren Aronofsky. She moved to NYC in the early 90's studied acting with Barbara Pitcher and joined Friends Theatre Company doing her first show at The Bruno Walter Theatre at Lincoln Center at 19 years old. Attending Hunter College for a brief period before becoming seduced by "downtown" performance, theatre, art and cabaret scenes of NYC, where has been a vital member ever since. Heather is the recipient of HOWL! Arts Fellowship 2018 and The William and Eva Fox Foundation's Theatre Communications Group Fox Fellowship 2016 -2018 in conjunction with La MaMa theatre. Heather wrote and world-premiered her one woman show Lemonade at La MaMa in 2016. After world premiering at La MaMa and European premiere at Edinburgh Fringe with Assembly Rooms, her critically acclaimed solo show Lemonade was invited to present at London's Kings Head Theatre in 2018. Heather is a member of Caden Manson's critically acclaimed theatre company Big Art Group with whom she toured extensively: Hebbel Theatre, (Berlin Germany), Festival d' Autome a' Paris (Paris, France), Wiener Festwochen (Vienna,Austria), REDCAT (Los Angeles, CA) and Yerba Buena. She has performed with Yoshiko Chuma and the School of Hardknocks and was recently cast in their newest project SML: Zooma, Dead End. Additional credits include performances at a variety of renowned theaters and venues including The Kitchen, Abrons Art Center, Dance Space Workshop, Bruno Walter Theatre, Lincoln Center, Joe's Pub, The Wild Project, Judson Church, and Pioneer Works, Irving Plaza, The New Museum, The Guggenheim Museum, and BAM Avery Fisher Hall.

Currently Ms. Litteer hosts her own variety show, Pleasure Seekers LIVE! featuring a rotating cast of NYC's most lively denizens. She established the long-running women's reading series W.O.(e).R.D (Womens of Experience Read Downtown), currently housed at Howl! Arts. Heather is a recent member of Rimbaud Hattie, a band formed in honor of David Wojnerowick and Brian Butterick (aka Hattie Hathway) featuring Julie Hair and Doug Bressler (former members of 3 Teens Kill 4) and artist John Kelly. Heather also serves on the advisory board of The Wild Project theatre and a resident actor at La MaMa ETC. She is a longtime member of the legendary nightclub performance, The Jackie Factory, where she earned and performs under the moniker, Rabbit.
