Biography

Frieda Linzi was born on July 18, 1932 in Antwerp, Belgium. She was an actress, known for Mijn man doet dat niet (1956), Boevenprinses (1956) and Een zonde waard (1959). She died on November 4, 1998 in Wilrijk, Flanders, Belgium.

She was television announcer for the B.R.T. till she was fired in 1962.

On 20 april 1962 she sued the newspapers De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, Het Nieuws van de Dag, Het Vrije Volksblad, Het Handelsblad because of an article in which her presentation style was criticized on a very personal and sharp way. She claimed insurance but the Court gave her wrong. Linzi was also fired at the BRT (Belgian Radio and Television).

During the last years of her life, Linzi got breast cancer and had one of breasts removed.
