Biography

Bambi Linn was born on April 26, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. She is an actress, known for Oklahoma! (1955), Thru the Crystal Ball (1949) and The Philip Morris Playhouse (1953). She has been married to Joseph de Jesus since August 4, 1960. They have two children. She was previously married to Rod Alexander.

She and dancer Marc Platt are the only members of the Broadway cast of "Oklahoma!" to appear in the 1955 film version, though not in their original stage roles.

Trained with noted choreographer Agnes de Mille.

At the age of 17, she made her Broadway debut in the original production of Oklahoma! (1943). With the death of actor George S. Irving, she became the last surviving cast member of the original opening night cast of Oklahoma.

Born to Henry William Linnemeier (a surveyor and accountant) and Mary "Mimi" (Tweer) Linnemeier.
