Barbara Ling was born on August 4, 1952 in Santa Monica, California, USA. She was a production designer and producer, known for Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) and Batman & Robin (1997). She was married to Lindsay. She died on July 9, 2026 in Santa Barbara, California, USA.

She was awarded the 1979 Drama Logue Award for Outstanding Lighting Design for "Kid Twist," in a NTFN production at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
