Biography

Hal Lindsey was born on November 23, 1929 in Houston, Texas, USA. He was a writer, known for The Omega Code (1999), The Late Great Planet Earth (1978) and I.I.B. (1994). He was married to Jan Houghton, Kim, Rose and Jolyn Lindsey. He died on November 25, 2024.

He attended the University of Houston but left to serve in the Coast Guard during the Korean War. He later became a tugboat captain in the Mississippi Delta.

He has three daughters by his second wife Jan. They are twins Jenny & Robin (B. January 24, 1963) and Heidi (B. November 11, 1968). Robin and Jenny Lindsey are 1985 graduates with degrees in bachelor of arts from Gonzaga University. They are both married and have lived in Englewood, CO and Pacific Palisades, CA.
