Biography

Georgia Lind was born on November 20, 1905 in Chemnitz, Germany. She was an actress, known for Der Mann, der nicht nein sagen kann (1938), Wie werde ich reich und glücklich? (1930) and Die Halbwüchsigen (1929). She was married to Rudolf Platte. She died on December 10, 1984 in Berlin, Germany.

Stage actress who appeared in occasional films, alternating leads with supporting roles. After 1945, she performed increasingly in radio and had a particularly lengthy association with station RIAS in Berlin. She was twice married to the leading actor Rudolf Platte.

From the mid-1930s she devoted herself increasingly to the theatre, and post-Second World War she also did a large amount of radio work.

Georgia Lind got married with the actor Rudolf Platte in 1942. The marriage was dissolved one year later but they got re-married in 1953 and kept inseparable till her death.
