Biography

Luisa-María Linares was born on September 7, 1915 in Madrid, Madrid, Spain. She was a writer, known for Romance en Puerto Rico (1962), Barbablù (1941) and Socios para la aventura (1958). She was married to Antonio Carbo y Ortiz-Repiso. She died on September 12, 1986 in Estoril, Portugal.

Luisa Maria Linares-Becerra y Martin was born on 07 September 1915 in Madrid, Spain. She was the daughter of Luis Linares-Becerra, a playwright, and Maria Concepcion Martin de Eugenio. One of her sisters was the novelist Concha Linares-Becerra. On 1933, she married Antonio Carbo y Ortiz-Repiso and had two daughters. Her husband died on 1936, during the Spanish Civil War. She started to writing to newspapers, and she published her first novels on 1939. She published 32 novels, which have been translated into several languages and adapted to film 22 times. Luisa-Maria Linares died on 12 September 1986 in Estoril, Portugal.
