Carmen Linares was born on February 25, 1951 in Linares, Jaén, Andalucía, Spain. She is an actress, known for The Limits of Control (2009), The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018) and Los extremeños se tocan (1970).

Carmen Linares was the first flamenco singer to perform at the Lincoln Center in New York, invited by the city's Philharmonic Orchestra.
