Biography

Altair Lima was born on July 8, 1936 in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazil. He was an actor, known for O Morro dos Ventos Uivantes (1967), A Gata (1964) and O Anjo Assassino (1967). He was married to Isabel Ribeiro and Maria Célia Camargo. He died on December 24, 2002 in Angatuba, São Paulo, Brazil.

Acted in both versions of "Xica da Silva", but as different characters. In the movie, played "Intendente" (1976) and in the soap played "Jacobino" (1996).

Directored Sonia Braga in play "Hair", in the end of the sixties, where he was also the producer.

Has a daughter named Ana Célia Camargo Pinto.

Son of Alzira Naves Vieira and José Pinto Junior.
