- Yuen-Man Lee was born on June 24, 1912 in Xinghui County, Guangdong Province, Hong Kong. Yuen-Man is a writer and composer, known for Chun man dì huang jia (1962), Big and Little Wong Tin Bar (1962) and Yin jian jin dao (1964).
- Played Cantonese opera instruments by thirteen and wrote songs for the opera at sixteen.
- Coordinator of the music group at Guangzhou Sports Association at age 18.
- Lectured in Chinese Music study at Guangdong National Education Institute
- Retired from film in 1966 and became a record producer.
- Retired in 1973
