She was an actress and composer, known for Dick Deadeye, or Duty Done (1975), The Stud (1978) and The Bitch (1979). She was married to Neil Warnock and Jim Cregan. She died on May 3, 2023 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England, UK.

Her sisters Shirley Lewis and Dee Lewis Clay were also singers.

Was known by her birth name of Linda Fredericks until signing with Polydor Records in 1967: the label asked her to change her name as it was too similar to that of another Polydor artist: Linda Kendrick. Linda Fredericks adopted the surname Lewis in honor of American pop/soul singer Barbara Lewis.
