Jeffreys-Lewis's first husband was an actor named A.J. Maitland whom she married in 1878. They divorced circa 1886. Her second husband was named Harry Mainhall, married 1887, and their son was also named Harry Mainhall born that same year. Mainhall Sr died in November 1902 and Mainhall Jr grew up to act in silent movies. Her son Mainhall Jr died in 1931 five years after (Mary) Jeffreys Lewis.
