Graduated with honors from Yale University at the age of twenty. Moved to Los Angeles to work on Thirtysomething (1987) and Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990) during the 1980s. Moved on to other works for Nickelodeon and Disney.

Attended the Yale School of Drama with Paul Giamatti where they performed in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
