The Expanse (2015) is the best new science fiction series since Babylon 5 (1993). Four seasons so far. Gripping and compulsive viewing. And it shows up Chibnall's Doctor Who for the rubbish it is. Trust me, it takes a while to get into it, but once you do, there's no turning back.

Ron Jones was the most lovely guy - warm, genuine, considerate and a good friend. I loved him to bits but he was not a great director.
