Ford Levine was responsible for discovering actor James Doherty, a young struggling model from the East Coast. Doherty had no connections in Hollywood and didn't know how to get his career started until a chance encounter with Floyd. Floyd after a two hour conversation with Doherty got him into a manager's office where he was signed then an agent. Within three weeks authority was guest starring on television shows with TV stars from the 60s 70s and 80s. Floyd Levine made his dreams come true. Floyd did not even know this man, but he did see something in him that reminded him of himself he said when he started in his career 40 years earlier. What a great man Floyd Levine was.
