Biography

Geoff Levin is an award-winning multi-faceted film and television composer, songwriter and music supervisor. As a filmmaker he produced his second film Brothers Broken to be released in 2026. As a composer he has scored 55 full length films. He has also contributed music to another 30 features. He scored and helped produce the Academy Award nominated animated short "The Janitor" based on the story by Celestial Navigations (Geoffrey Lewis) His TV credits include music for Game Of Thrones, Chicago Fire, SNL, Archer and CSI New York, Bad Sister, Jimmy Kimmel Show and many more. Additionally, Geoff has placed over 40 of his original songs in movies. Geoff Levin has numerous TV and cable shows and series to his credit, including Chalk Zone for Nicklelodeon, and additional music for The Office, The Good Wife, Friends, The View, Weeds, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and more. including the Discovery Channel's special The Valley of the T-Rex (2001), a three-part series for The Learning Channel called "Science of the Edge" and National Geographic's "Quest for K2". He has also scored the animated children's Saturday morning shows Sabrina: The Animated Series (1999), Street Sharks (1994) and Back to the Future (1991). His music can be heard on all major TV networks and cable channels. He is producing his next feature film - Alyssa's Song, a Sci-Fi music film. Geoff was the founder of the rock group People! who had the hit song "I Love You" in 1968. The group toured with The Who and opened for Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane, and Santana.

While a member of the Church of Scientology, he created the music for the 1980s commercials for L. Ron Hubbard's book "Dianetics." Now a critic of Scientology, he has contributed songs parodying the organization to journalist Tony Ortega's site "The Underground Bunker," including one sampling his original "Dianetics" music.

One of the three founding members of the storytelling group "Celestial Navigations," along with actor Geoffrey Lewis and arranger David Campbell.
