Leuchter graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Michigan.
While continuing on for his MA/PhD at the University of Toronto, he
wrote and directed Seal of Approval, an award winning tragicomedy. Seal
attracted attention from major studio executives and respected
filmmakers, who in turn assisted Leuchter in the development of further
feature projects.
