- Barbara Lettieri is an Italian-born producer, writer, and actress based in Los Angeles. She began her career as an actress, earning an award for her stage work and booking a recurring role on Days of Our Lives, before moving into writing and producing.
Her producing work includes the short Filthy, directed by Oscar-shortlisted filmmaker Lisa Cole and executive produced by Planned Parenthood. Filthy received a Special Jury Award at the Bentonville Film Festival. In 2026, Lettieri began developing the feature version of the film.
She also produced Mean Goals, which premiered at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and received multiple festival honors, including a producer finalist recognition for Lettieri at NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.
Lettieri spent two years working on the short Rise, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival and went on to screen at more than 80 festivals worldwide, earning 35 awards, including the HollyShorts Social Impact Award and the Children’s Resilience Short Film Prize at Indy Shorts.
Her screenplays have also received recognition at film festivals and screenwriting competitions, including the Austin Film Festival and a finalist placement at a Berlin screenwriting competition.
