She was an actress and writer, known for Calamity Anne's Dream (1913), Calamity Anne's Sacrifice (1913) and Calamity Anne, Detective (1913). She was married to Jack Richardson and Frank Beal. She died on 18 November 1952 in Hollywood, California, USA.

Began in films at Flying A Pictures in Santa Barbara, CA.

The first female western star. Also the first actress to play Calamity Jane on screen in a series of films made between 1912-17.
