Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Prolific composer, songwriter, author and publisher Edgar Leslie was born in Stamford, Connecticut on New Year's Eve on 1885 and was educated at Cooper Union in New York. A charter member of ASCAP in 1914 and an ASCAP director 1931-1941 and again 1947-1953, he became a publisher and collaborated musically with Maurie Abrams, Fred Ahlert, Irving Berlin, Joe Burke, Walter Donaldson, E. Ray Goetz, Archie Gottler, George Meyer, Jimmy Monaco, Harry Warren, Pete Wendling, and Joe Young.
