Rudolf Leonhardt was born on 27 October 1889 in Lissa, Prussia, Germany [now Leszno, Wielkopolskie, Poland]. He was a writer, known for The Love of Jeanne Ney (1927), Diary of a Lost Girl (1929) and Das Haus zum Mond (1921). He died on 19 December 1953 in East Berlin, East Germany.
