Biography

Ann Leary was born on August 14, 1962 in Syracuse, New York, USA. She is a writer, known for Modern Love (2019), Two If by Sea (1996) and The Good House (2021). She has been married to Denis Leary since August 19, 1989. They have two children.

While 6 months pregnant with Jack in 1990, she got the okay from her doctor to accompany Denis on a trip to London so he could perform on a show there. However, the night before they were to leave, her water broke, and Jack was born prematurely three days later. His dangerous prematurity forced Ann and Denis to turn a weekend trip into about a 6 month stay.

Mother of two: Jack Leary, who has appeared as an actor and served as production assistant on Rescue Me (2004) and Devin Leary.

Passed test to qualify as an emergency medical technician, and serves as volunteer EMT in the Litchfield area of Connecticut where she lives in.

Moved to Marblehead, Mass. from the Midwest when she was 14.

Met her husband, comedian Denis Leary, as a student in the acting class he taught after he graduated from Boston's Emerson College.

I was funnier and smarter when I drank. It was something I did really well. It gave me the confidence to be able to walk into a room.

I know some people wouldn't take this novel seriously - I'm a celebrity wife, for God's sakes. I wouldn't want to read the novel of a celebrity wife.
