  • German stage actor (from 1918) and director. Ensemble member of the Staatstheater Stuttgart (1932-44) and the Badischen Staatstheater Karlsruhe, (1949-52). Film appearances occasional.
  • The actor Waldemar Leitgeb took acting lessons and started his theater career in 1918 in Lucerne afterwards. In the next years followed theater engagements in different Swiss cities before hie went to Germany in 1925. There he played in Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
  • After a longer stay at the Deutsches Theater in Prague he played regularly in Stuttgart from 1932. Other cities followed in the next years.
