Born and raised near Boston, Cher grew up in an athletic family (dad was recruited to play pro baseball and mom was a girls’ cheer leading coach and a boys’ little league umpire). Cher played ice hockey with her brother and friends, became a competitive figure skater and remains an avid Red Socks, Bruins and Patriots fan. At Michigan State she played Field Hockey and founded the MSU Dance Team. Go Green!
Cher’s modeling career started during her Michigan State years and accelerated in NYC with William Morris and Elite Models which also took her to Europe and Japan. She’s done hundreds of print ads and television commercials for Dunkin Donuts, Coors, Subaru, Maybelline, Kodak, L’eggs, Taco Bell, Gillette and Dannon Yogurt to name a few. Her big break came in 1987 when she was paired with the unknown 20 year old Matt LeBlanc for the soon to be iconic Heinz Ketchup commercial which was followed by her Subaru and Milk commercials, all three winning awards and gaining national attention. Cher stayed active in the business until 1995 when she paused for 20 years to focus on her family.
Back at it since 2015 and appreciative of the life it has provided, Cher is a dedicated and passionate actress who thrives in the collaborative energy of production and just loves being on set.
