- Jan Laskowski was born on February 10, 1928 in Piotrowice, Wilenskie, Poland [now Piotrowice, Lithuania]. He was a cinematographer and writer, known for Mezczyzni na wyspie (1962), Theatre Macabre (1971) and Night Train (1959). He died on December 8, 2014 in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland.
