- Harry Lange was born on December 7, 1930 in Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany. He was a production designer and art director, known for 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Moonraker (1979). He was married to Daisy. He died on May 22, 2008 in Headington, Oxford, England, UK.

- Suffered a stroke and had to be moved to St Luke's Hospital in Headington, England. He passed away three years later on May 22, 2008.

Harry worked on the project for nearly 3 years and shared an Oscar nomination for Best Art Direction in 1969. He also worked with George Lucas on the first Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) film and earned a second Oscar nomination or the sequel Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
