Stephen Landis was born on August 8, 1948 in Glendale, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Magnum, P.I. (1980), The Bold and the Beautiful (1987) and Hawaii Five-0 (2010). He was married to Jill Marie Landis. He died on October 14, 2022 in Long Beach, California, USA.

Before seeking work as an actor/model, he worked as a teacher.

He lives full time in Hawaii surfing, paddling and racing 1 and 6 man canoes, playing "slack key" guitar at the Tahiti Nui and occasionally acting in television and film.
