Micheline Lanctôt was born on 12 May 1947 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is an actress and director, known for Sonatine (1984), Pour l'amour de Dieu (2011) and Ravenous (2017). She was previously married to Marshall Chrostowski.

She worked as an animator for Potterton Prods before becoming an actress for Gilles Carle, She did the drawings in Fun with Dick and Jane titles.
