Equipped with a strong knowledge of military history and heraldry, he is also known for an extraordinarily captivating story telling ability. He has worked on numerous projects as an expert historical & military technical advisor. He is gifted with a near photographic memory, strong organizational skills, and an infectious wit. Often referred to as one of the hardest working and most versatile crew members on a set. He is well regarded by his colleagues as a truly accomplished professional, who is admired by cast and crew members alike.

Maintains a huge private film library with an emphasis on rare war movies.
Received a "Letter of Commendation and Appreciation" in 1994, from the San Francisco Chief of Police for his role as the suspect team coordinator and leader (OPFOR) in one of the largest law enforcement training exercises in Northern California history, involving Police, Sheriff, Fire, Paramedic, Hostage Negotiation, Emergency Services, and the FBI.
An avid student and lover of film, he can enumerate a variable plethora of film facts, quotes, and trivia upon request.
Attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, and assisted in numerous productions for the Drama dept., garnering a Special Award for his efforts. The very same school and drama program attended by Annette Bening, who graduated along with his sister a year prior. During his senior year, his school was also attended by an imbalanced student, turned deadly sniper. Her murderous rampage, would later serve as the inspiration for the song "I Don't Like Mondays" written and performed by Bob Geldof of The Boomtown Rats.
