- Lam Chua was born on August 18, 1941 in Singapore. He was a producer and production manager, known for Mr. Nice Guy (1997), Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky (1991) and Armour of God (1986). He was married to Chong-wen Chang. He died on June 25, 2025 in Hong Kong, China.

- After travelling around New York, Seoul and cities in India and Nepal, he settled down in Hong Kong in 1963 and worked for several years in the film production industry for Shaw Brothers Studio and Golden Harvest.
