Biography

Chiu-Wing Lam was born on December 14, 1961 in Hong Kong. He was an actor and writer, known for Vulgaria (2012), With or Without You (1992) and A Summer Night's Dream. He died on December 12, 2023 in Hong Kong.

He was a member of the Hong Kong Film Critics Society .

Known for his wit and humour, Lam Chiu Wing's works were also celebrated for their lightheartedness.

Lam Chiu Wing was a versatile individual, excelling in various roles such as emcee, host, Hong Kong media personality, television and film scriptwriter, and creative figure.

In the early 1990s, he gained fame by taking over as host and creative consultant for the Asia Television program "The Mad Mad Comedians," following in the footsteps of Eric Tsang.

Lam Chiu Wing graduated with an Honors Diploma in Chinese Studies from Hong Kong Baptist College in 1986.
