- Lalaine Vergara-Paras, or simply Lalaine, is best known for her role as Lizzie's (Hilary Duff) best friend Miranda Sanchez in the hit TV series Lizzie McGuire (2001), and she has confirmed that she will appear in the reboot. Lalaine released her music album "Inside Story" in 2003. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

- Lalaine is the youngest of four siblings, Marian, Francisco and Cristina, she also has two nephews and a niece. She resided in the Philippines from 1990 till 1995. Her sister Cristina had to beg her Mom to drive her to her singing coach for vocal training in 1997, which she paid for in three months. It was then that Lalaine was discovered and performed as Little Cosette in "Les Miserables" Broadway Production for almost a year.
