Biography

Tzruya Lahav was born on July 16, 1951 in Ayelet HaShahar, Israel. She was an actress, known for Florentine (1997), Pause (2006) and Derech Hamuzika (2021). She was married to Louis Lahav and Shabtai Konorti. She died on April 1, 2026 in Jerusalem.

Recorded and toured with Bruce Springsteen on violin and backing vocals in the 1970s.

After a period of study at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles, she returned to Israel in 1975 and became integrated into the local rock scene, including as a musician on the legendary album by the band "Tamuz", "End of the Orange Season".

A songwriter, author, poet, actress and musician.

Met set designer Itzik Alblack, with whom she has lived since then, as is commonly known, in the German colony in Jerusalem. The couple had three sons, including musician Yonatan Alblack.

While serving in the military on the Paratrooper Brigade's Havi team, she met Louis Lahav and married him at a young age. They traveled together to the United States, where their daughter Tal was born, who was killed in an accident at the age of three and a half. They divorced after about seven years of marriage.
