Biography

John Lafia was born on April 2, 1957. He was a director and writer, known for Man's Best Friend (1993), Child's Play (1988) and Child's Play (2019). He was married to Beverly. He died on April 29, 2020 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Active in L.A.'s underground music scene in the 1980s, he released a double album "John Lafia 1980-1985" in 2019.

Received a BFA in Motion Picture and Television from UCLA.

Father of Tess Lafia and Kane Lafia.

Graduated from Palm Springs High School in 1975.
