One of her favorite horror films is the original When a Stranger Calls (1979). She said that she made the mistake of watching the film while babysitting her younger stepsister, Lindsay Walker, and swore off babysitting after watching the film.

However, she seems to have decided to stick with her blond hair in recent films like Cabin Fever (2002).
