Biography

Vangie Labalan was born on January 20, 1943 in Bago, Negros Occidental, Philippines. She was an actress, known for The Woman in Unit 23B (2016), Sana pag-ibig na (1998) and Di bale na lang (1987). She was married to Noli. She died on February 12, 2026.

For now, she is a widow, a mother of four and a grandmother of eight. Three children - Marlon, April and Tangerine - are now based in Australia and most often, she spends Christmases with her youngest son, Carlo and two grandsons who have decided to remain in Manila.

June 2011, she is observing her 39th year in show business. Her showbiz life started in Bacolod in 1962 and ended in the Big City where she produced radio and TV commercials, acted on stage and film and got to work with Lino Brocka, Ishmael Bernal and Marilou Diaz-Abaya, among others.

Owned a company called "Synch Masters", which specialized in dubbing Mexican telenovelas and anime shows in Filipino.
