Opera singer (tenor).

He studied in Modena, Italy with Arrigo Pola and Carlo Bergonzi.

As a child, he learned to play the flute and guitar. He didn't realize he had an operatic voice until he was in college, studying biology.

At 21, he came to the attention of Luciano Pavarotti, who recommended his own voice teacher, Arrigo Pola. He also studied with tenor Carlo Bergonzi.
